The group stage of DreamHack Open January 2021 Europe is coming to its end later today. Yesterday BIG and Gambit Esports became the first two teams to qualify for the playoffs stage – in the winners’ matches they defeated Evil Geniuses (2-1) and Team Spirit (2-1) respectively. Meanwhile HellRaisers and forZe became the first two teams to leave the competition.

Today the event will feature two decider matches: first, Evil Geniuses will play with recently formed FPX roster (2:00 PM UK time), and then Team Spirit will face Sprout (7:30 PM).
The European division of DreamHack Open January is being held online from January 27th to 31st, featuring a $70,000 prize pool. The event is part of the ESL Pro Tour circuit.
