BLAST Premier: Fall Showdown to Stick with CS:GO Despite Counter-Strike 2 Release

Tournament organizer BLAST has shared details of the upcoming tournaments in light of the release of Counter-Strike 2.

It has been announced that the BLAST Premier: Fall European Showdown 2023 and BLAST Premier: Fall American Showdown 2023 will be played on the previous version of the game, CS:GO. Both tournaments will take place from October 4th to 8th.

Meanwhile, the BLAST Premier: Fall Final 2023, with a prize pool of $425,000, will be played in Counter-Strike 2. This competition is scheduled for November 22nd to 26th.

It was previously announced that the ESL Pro League Season 18 will also be concluded in CS:GO. The match schedule can be found here.
