S1mple Replaces SunPayus in Falcons
The Falcons have announced a roster change in their Counter-Strike 2 lineup, with SunPayus being benched.
It has been officially confirmed that S1mple has joined the club on a loan deal for three months. S1mple will take over the AWP role previously held by SunPayus.
There is no word yet on whether the parties plan to extend the contract after the loan period ends. Previously, S1mple joined the Falcons on loan for a single tournament (BLAST Premier: Spring Showdown 2024), where the team was eliminated by Metizport in the first series.
The first tournament for the updated Falcons roster will be the Thunderpick World Championship 2024, featuring a prize pool of $850,000. The competition will take place from October 21 to November 3.
