Team Spirit Emerges Victorious at BLAST Premier: Spring Final 2024

On June 16, the last Counter-Strike 2 tournament before the summer break concluded. For the next four weeks, major tournaments are on hold.

Team Spirit and NAVI made it to the finals of the BLAST Premier: Spring Final 2024, both securing the top spots in their groups and starting the playoffs directly from the semifinals.

NAVI faced Virtus.pro, winning with a 2:0 score. NAVI first claimed victory on their opponent's pick (Anubis — 13:5) and then secured a win on Mirage (13:9). In the second semifinal, Team Spirit defeated Team Vitality in a close match (11:13 — Mirage, 13:9 — Dust 2, 13:9 — Anubis).

The grand final was a best-of-5 series and ended with Team Spirit's victory at 3:1. The team started with a win on their pick, Ancient, with a score of 13:9, followed by another 13:9 win on Dust 2. NAVI crushed Team Spirit on Mirage with a score of 13:4, narrowing the gap, but couldn't maintain the momentum on Nuke — 13:6 in favor of Spirit, resulting in a final series score of 3:1.

The total prize pool of the tournament was $425,000, with Team Spirit taking home $200,000. Additionally, Team Spirit received an invitation to the BLAST Premier: World Final 2024.
