Team Zero Qualifies for The International

Following the upper bracket finals of the Chinese closed qualifiers, the first team from the region to qualify for the tournament has been determined.

In the match for a slot at the main event of the year, Team Zero (Erika, 7e, Beyond, ponlo, zzq) faced off against Azure Ray (Lou, Ori, Faith_bian, fy, 天命). Team Zero took the first game of the series, but Azure Ray evened the score on the second map. In the decisive third game, Team Zero came out on top, overcoming a nearly 13,000 net worth deficit.

Azure Ray fell to the lower bracket of the qualifiers, where they will get a second chance to qualify for The International 2024. They will play against the winner of the match between TEAM TURTLE and G2 x iG.

A total of two slots are available for the China region in the qualifiers for The International. The International 2024 will take place in Copenhagen from September 4 to 15.
