Fnatic wins Elisa Masters Espoo

On November 20, the Elisa Masters Espoo 2022 LAN tournament in Finland came to an end.

Fnatic and BIG made it to the playoffs. Fnatic started the playoffs from the semifinals because the team won Group B. Fnatic's opponent in the semifinals was Astralis, who lost 0-2.

BIG was ranked third in Group A, so the club had to start the playoffs from the quarterfinals, where the German team defeated 500 (2-0). BIG then handled Sprout in the semifinals (2-1) and advanced to the finals.

In the best-of-3 final, Fnatic defeated their opponent on Vertigo (16-4), after which they also beat BIG on Overpass (16-5). The final score of the series is 2-0.

The tournament prize pool is $200,000 and Fnatic received half of it as well as an invitation to the IEM Katowice 2023 Play-In. The tournament in Katowice will begin on January 31, 2023.
