IEM Global Challenge: NAVI Secure First Place in Group B
Natus Vincere have managed to advance to the playoffs stage of IEM XV – Global Challenge from the first place in Group B after defeating Team Liquid (2-0). Besides that, Heroic have been eliminated from the event after losing to FURIA (1-2).
Today is the final day of the group stage and by the evening we will know all participants of the playoffs stage. First we will witness the decider match of Group A, which is scheduled for 3:00 PM UK time and will feature Astralis taking on Vitality, a rematch of the recent grand finale of BLAST Premier Fall 2020 Finals, where the French team emerged victorious. Then in Group B Liquid will play with FURIA (6:30 PM) – this fall these teams faced each other three times, with all series ending in FURIA’s favour.

The playoffs stage of the $500,000 online event IEM XV – Global Challenge will follow a single-elimination format with best-of-three semifinals is scheduled for December 19th – 20th. The winner of the best-of-five grand finale will claim $200,000 in prize money. The official English stream is available on this Twitch channel.
