Mousesports Are Looking for a Potential Replacement for Karrigan

Mousesports’s Chief Business Development Officer Jan Dominicus has told HLTV.org that the organization is currently in talks with the captain of their CS:GO roster, Finn "karrigan" Andersen. While the situation is far from certain, the club is looking for a potential replacement.

Karrigan’s contract with Mousesports is set to expire this March. The player has asked the organization for more time to decide on his future – however, there are reports that he is not inclined to stay with the German organization. Earlier it was rumored that Karrigan might end up in FaZe Clan, who since October have been playing with Olof "olofmeister" Kajbjer Gustafsson as a stand-in.

Karrigan has been part of Mousesports since early 2019, right after leaving FaZe Clan. After winning GG.Bet Ice Challenge 2020 in February, the team has been struggling to find their game for the best part of the year. However, lately the team managed to win BLAST Premier: Fall 2020 Showdown and placed second at DreamHack Masters Winter 2020: Europe.
